This is my first artist book, created during the course taught by artist and designer Julia Pelletier in Barcelona. My intention is to convey a feeling of oppression and discomfort that can arise on very windy days. The shape of the book does not allow the reader to open it in a very comfortable or intuitive way. Although the materials used are delicate papers (tissue paper and handmade paper), the creative process involved piercing, varnishing, and piercing again to create a rough, tactile texture.
