08 Mar If being under the spotlight doesn’t boost your confidence, you might need to rebrand!
Does your outfit reflect who you really are?
Do you ever have that day you feel everyone is glancing at you when in the street or at work? That feeling of having everyone’s eyes stuck on your face can either go one way or the other.
Scenario 1:
You like the way you are dressed today and feel confident that the image you are transmitting is true to who you really are. Those glances are full of interest or even admiration and they definitely reinforce your assurance and boost your self-esteem. You are happy to be where you are right now and you are taking the opportunity of being under the spotlight to show who you are and send a message!
Keep it up and stand out by being who you really want to be
Scenario 2:
You think you might have something wrong with your hair or check you haven’t got your flies open. It just emphasizes the fact that you haven’t been feeling at your best lately. You are struggling to find where you fit. When you open your wardrobe, you end up wearing the same plain trousers and shirt just because you feel the rest of your clothes are part of another life, or you have such different styles, you don’t know how to combine anything anymore.
Those glances are making you feel worse and uncomfortable, you wish you could hide underground and run out of the spotlight. You don’t know who you are and what you really want to be. You feel you are transmitting an image that doesn’t reflect your personality anymore and you are attracting the glances of people you don’t feel identified with.
How do you feel about your Brand?
It’s the same for a Brand. It’s normal that a brand loses its personality with time, changes in business needs, or leadership.
If this disconnection between the brand and its identity might seem secondary for a business, it can have repercussions you haven’t thought of. A disconnected brand tends to:
→ attract the wrong client
→transmit a wrong image of the company and jeopardize its reputation
→be forgotten
→not be recommendable
→lose its credibility and relevance
→make its employees’ motivation drop
So maybe it is time for you to shift this tendency and build a brand that makes you put your arms up while in the spotlight!
Are you ready to talk about your Brand?
My Process
I like to divide my branding process into 3 distinctive steps. It allows us to be aligned and communicate during the whole time and therefore to be more efficient.
Discovery
Defining your Brand fundamentals.
The first step to good branding is first of all understanding why we are here, what you value, what the brand wants to transmit and what makes it different. We will go through the brand fundamentals during one or several collaborative workshops. You’ll be surprised how these exercises can be revealing.
Creative Design
Creating your Visual identity.
Thanks to the discovery work, I will be able to work on visual proposals which will include the main visual elements of the Brand Identity (Logo, typography, colours, patterns, photography, iconography).
Each proposal will be illustrated with its application to a limited number of materials depending on your business. For example: a web site home page, business cards or social media feed.
Production
Producing all deliverables.
Once the Design is approved and agreed on, I will work on producing all the elements of the brand identity to deliver them in the formats and files which best match your needs.
